MONITOR - measures a wide range of human interaction and electrical parameters.

INTERPRET - dynamically analyses the information to determine a specific appliance state, and therefore user power requirement.

CONTROL - Turns appliances on or off at exactly the right time to reduce 99% of power wastage.

Embertec Empowered products intuitively learn the behaviour of connected appliances automatically, then provide power only when it is needed.

For AV appliances, when the user switches off appliances, standby power is shut off completely after a short period of time.

In addition, when users are not using the AV appliances, but have left them turned on (e.g. children leaving the room), after a certain period of time all power will be removed from those appliances. On returning to the AV environment, appliances can be re-activated in the normal way. Simple.

For PC appliances, whenever the computer - any type of computer - goes into standby, hibernate or off mode, power is removed from all of the connected peripheral devices. Power is immediately and automatically restored when the computer is reactivated in the normal way.
