Unlike any other technology currently on the market Embertec's unique digital micro processor technology addresses both:

PASSIVE STANDBY POWER, electricity that is used by appliances while they are turned off.

And an even larger concern but less reviewed

ACTIVE STANDBY MODES, wastage from devices left on but not being used, delivering maximum possible savings.

Fully Independent field trials undertaken by Energy Consult Pty Ltd highlight average annual AV savings as 837 kWh or equal to USD 96, GBP 55, EUR 145, AUD 145 as well as 424 kWh savings on the average PC environment.

Additionally, it is the only technology that enables a single power saving device that functions accurately for all types of computers including laptops, notebooks and desktops, both PC and Mac without any dependence on a USB connection guaranteeing that one device will work for the lifetime of a PC environment.
